Application

Rat plateable cryopreserved hepatocytes are used for long term studies (1-5 days) e.g. induction, toxicity, and transport studies

• Quality: Each lot of plateable cryopreserved rat hepatocytes is tested to ensure that hepatocytes are high quality; The plateable cryopreserved rat SD hepatocyte are guaranteed to be at least 5 million viable cells per vial and ≥80% confluences; the cells show levels of induction following treatment with known inducers.

• Multiple Species Available: We provide plateable cryopreserved hepatocytes from other rat species include Wistar, Lewis, Fischer 344 or any rat species upon request as well as customer supplied rats; Non-parenchymal cells (NPCs), Stellate or Kupffer cells can be isolated and cryopreserved offering a matched donor set.
